Our Belleville Team
Sara Saric
Owner
Sara spent 18 years with the State of Illinois, including eight years approving and managing long-term and supportive living cases with the Dept of Human Services. Her experience gives her an in-depth understanding of the Medicaid process and the challenges families can face along the way. Sara focuses on growing the firm so the team can meet the needs of more families across IL and MO.
Lindsey Jones
Director of Operations
Lindsey has worked as a caseworker since 2021. Her experience working with nursing home residents gives her an understanding of the challenges surrounding long-term care placement, Medicaid, and the difficult decisions residents and their families often face. She oversees both offices and guides each staff member to ensure each case is handled properly.
Amber Deese
Senior Caseworker
Amber joined Saric Consulting in 2021 with a passion for supporting families. She works closely with attorneys and families to help streamline the Medicaid application process and uses her strong organizational skills to manage the many details involved in each case.
Jyothi Jayasimha
Caseworker
Jo joined Saric Consulting in 2022. Her previous experience as a paralegal with a local elder law attorney gives her a strong foundation for handling detailed and complex Medicaid cases and collaborating effectively with attorneys and families.
Stacy Weissert
Administrative Assistant
Stacy joined Saric Consulting in 2022 and supports Sara and the management team in their daily routine. She tracks pending cases and appeals. Her organizations and attention to detail help keep both offices running at full capacity.
Jessica Pfeiffer
Director of Contracted Homes and Business Development
Jessica joined Saric Consulting as a caseworker in 2024, bringing with her a Bachelor’s degree in social work and extensive experience in community mental health. Her professional background includes a dedicated focus on social work and case management, particularly serving the aging population. Jessica joined the management team in 2026. Her focus is to build a team to support additional nursing home contracts across IL and MO while representing Saric at conferences and conventions throughout the year.
Julie York

Julie joined Saric Consulting after retiring from more than 38 years of federal service. She brings decades of professional experience along with a strong commitment to community involvement. She facilitates community events for Sara to speak more about the long-term Medicaid process. Julie remains active in several civic organizations and enjoys spending time with her husband, sons, and granddaughters.
Kathleen Griffin

Kathleen “Kathy” joined Saric Consulting in mid-2026. She has spent 25 years working as a paralegal in many different types of litigations. All which have prepared her in this new role to be a caring, passionate advocate for the elderly and their families. When not at work, she enjoys biking, hiking, and quality time with family and friends.

Tina enjoys working with people, solving challenges, and creating positive outcomes. Known for her reliability and positive work ethic, she is committed to providing exceptional support and contributing to the success of her team and organization in the Belleville office.

Lauren Johnson
Caseworker
Lauren joined Saric Consulting in early 2025 with a background in social services, long-term care case management, and Adult Protective Services. She has a deep respect for the aging population and enjoys building relationships with families throughout the Medicaid process. Her goal is to support residents, their loved ones, and long-term care staff at every stage of their case.
Tabatha Weidhuner

Tabatha brings a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, clinical healthcare experience in long-term care facilities, and a background in office administration to the Springfield team. Organized, detail-oriented, and driven to help others, she provides valuable administrative support to both clients and the Saric Consulting team.
Audri Richard

Audri brings nearly a decade of experience from an Estate Planning and Elder Law firm in the Springfield area, where she assisted families with asset protection and Medicaid planning. Her work gave her a deep understanding of the challenges people face at every stage of life, and she is committed to continuing that support at Saric Consulting. Audri is excited to manage our Springfield location and looks forward to guiding families through the Medicaid process with clarity, compassion, and confidence. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
